Legionella Remediation Work Plan

A properly drafted LRWP has a twofold purpose, first is to assist the Remediation Contractor in the required scope of work which is then reflected in a cost estimate by the Remediation Contractor and secondly to reduce the microbial potential in the building/dwelling or vehiculum resulting in a positive outcome for all who are involved in the process.
The LRWP may be used in tandem with other documents such as a critical path method (CPM) for scheduling when the building/dwelling is occupied or will be occupied partially or in whole during the remediation process, or when employing phased remediation method techniques for remediating portions of the building/dwelling or vehiculum in a desynchronized fashion. When drafted by an Indoor Air Quality Professional the Legionella Remediation Work Plan may also act as a bid document for estimating purposes.
